يشغل منصب كبير المستشارين بالجهاز الفني ورئيس لجنة الاستشارات والدعم المؤسسي بالمعهد العربي للتخطيط، حصل على بكالوريوس
الاقتصاد من جامعة الجزائر ونال ماجستير في الاقتصاد القياسي من جامعة مانشستر، انجلترا ودكتوراه الاقتصاد القياسي من جامعة برادفورد، إنجلترا. سبق له العمل كأستاذ مُحاضر بمعهد العلوم الاقتصادية، جامعة الجزائر، وكذلك في المدرسة الوطنية العليا متعددة التقنيات بالجزائر. عمل أيضاً كباحث مشارك في معهد البحوث التطبيقية للتنمية. ومن اهتماماته البحثية قياس التنافسية الوطنية وسياسات أسعار الصرف وإدارة الديون الخارجية بالإضافة إلى تطبيقات القياس الاقتصادي والتقنيات الكمية والنمذجة في تحليل السياسات الاقتصادية، فضلا عن دراسة البطالة والفقر والنمو الاقتصادي وتحليل سوق العمل.

Economics from the University of Algiers, and he received a Master’s in Econometrics from the University of Manchester, England, and a PhD in Econometrics from the University of Bradford, England. He previously worked as a lecturer at the Institute of Economic Sciences, University of Algiers, as well as at the National Higher School in various aspects in Algeria. He worked as a research associate at the New York Development Institute.
His research interests include measuring national competitiveness, exchange rate policies, and external debt management, in addition to applications of economic measurement, quantitative techniques, and modeling in economic policy analysis, as well as studying unemployment, poverty, economic growth, and labor market analysis.
